[LinkedIn Pages](https://help.dashthis.com/integrations?hsLang=en#linkedin-pages) # LinkedIn Pages notes/limitations ## A few things to keep in mind when you report on LinkedIn Pages in DashThis.   - When you create a widget with the followers metric, LinkedIn’s API **does not give us access to the historical data for a past period. **As a result of this, your data will be displayed as a 0 at the time the widget is created.  To see immediate results, please change the period at the top of your dashboard to the present period. Once your widget has been created, DashThis will begin storing historical data which will evolve over time based on your actual follower count. If you delete the follower's widget your data will still be available for that source if you choose to re-create it.                                          ![image-3](https://help.dashthis.com/hs-fs/hubfs/Breanne%20-%20Help%20Center/image-3.png?width=337&height=345&name=image-3.png)   - Currently, LinkedIn Pages API doesn't generate thumbnail images for carousel (document) posts. For multi-image posts, DashThis displays the first image as the thumbnail. - LinkedIn Pages API does not include LinkedIn Ads data. Should you need to integrate LinkedIn Ads into DashThis, please visit this [article](https://help.dashthis.com/create-a-linkedin-ads-reporting-dashboard?hsLang=en). - LinkedIn Pages posts' data is shown for the selected period only, not for the lifetime of the posts. - **Your Reposts total in DashThis depends on whether the widget uses a dimension**, and both versions are correct. The Reposts metric in a widget **without a dimension** matches LinkedIn's "Highlights" summary, which excludes instant reposts (a repost shared directly, with no added comment). A widget **with a dimension** that includes the Reposts metric matches LinkedIn's per-post "Content engagement" view, which counts every repost, including instant ones.
