Too many widgets can often make a dashboard confusing for your audience – and the whole point of a great dashboard is to make things simple!
Instead, we recommend you to create different dashboards showing different categories of data (ex. SEO, PPC, Social Media, etc.). Heavy reports with lots of KPIs are scary!
After separating your data into multiple dashboards, you can group those dashboards in order to find them and share them easily.
To do so, click on “create group” and name it the way you want. Then, you can simply drag and drop dashboards from right to left in your new group.
You can even share the URL of the group to your clients, so that they can easily switch from one dashboard to another through the navigation at the top.
After having tried all the best practices listed in this article, if the 50 widgets limit is still limiting you to achieve what would be the best dashboard for you, don’t hesitate to contact your product specialist and we’ll see what we can do.
