Got a question?
What is the meaning of "Automatic Content" values in the Google Ads integration?
The term "Automatic Content" is used to specify ads that are published using the Google Display Network.
Sometimes, in your Google Ads widgets, when choosing a dimension like "Headline", your widget will display a line called "Automatic Content" or "Content".
These refer to results that were generated via the Google Ads display network, which doesn't use traditional keywords.
In order to remove the line in your widget, here are your options:
- Include only the "Search" network results using the "Campaign Advertising Channel" filter.
- Create a Multi-Column List widget and choose the "Ad" dimension in order to display your search results and a preview of the ad itself.
