TikTok Organic notes/limitations

  • Due to TikTok Organic API limitations, new widgets without dimensions and without filters can only display up to 60 days of historical data. However, we store data as soon as a new widget is created, so we'll be able to display historical data as far back as when the widget was first created in DashThis.

  • Due to TikTok Organic API limitations, widgets with dimensions and widgets without dimensions but with filters can only display up to 18 months of historical data. However, we store data as soon as a new widget is created, so we'll be able to display historical data as far back as when the widget was first created in DashThis.

  • Some TikTok Ads metrics are only available depending on the type of TikTok Business Account you are using. TikTok currently offers two types of Business Accounts:

    • General Business Accounts

    • Registered Business Accounts

    Below is the list of metrics and the Business Account type required to access them:

    • Address Clicks – Registered Business Accounts only

    • App Download Link Clicks – Registered Business Accounts only

    • Bio Link Clicks – Registered Business Accounts only

    • Email Clicks – Registered Business Accounts only

    • Engaged Audience – General Business Accounts

    • Engagement Rate – General Business Accounts

    • Lead Submissions – Registered Business Accounts only

    • Lost Followers – General Business Accounts

    • Net Follower Growth – General Business Accounts

    • New Followers – General Business Accounts

    • Phone Number Clicks – Registered Business Accounts only

    • Reach – General Business Accounts

    • Website Clicks – Registered Business Accounts only

 

  • To add a new TikTok account to DashThis:

     1. Go to TikTok.

     2. Sign out of your current account to ensure you're fully logged out.

     3. Return to DashThis.

     4. Log in using the credentials for the TikTok account you wish to connect.

    ⚠️ Ensure you're not logged into any other TikTok account in your browser before attempting to connect a new one.
