How to automatically send dashboards to ClickUp
DashThis can turn any dashboard into a ClickUp task on a recurring schedule by sending your automated email report to a List's own email address.
How does sending a dashboard to ClickUp work?
DashThis can email any dashboard to anyone on a recurring schedule. ClickUp can turn an incoming email into a task through its Email ClickApp, and each List has its own email-to-task address. Set that address as the recipient of a scheduled DashThis report, and your dashboard lands in ClickUp on its own.
- On the DashThis side, you schedule a recurring email of your dashboard.
- On the ClickUp side, a List's email address turns that email into a task automatically.
In short, you connect two features that already exist: DashThis email going out, and ClickUp email-to-task coming in. There is no integration to install.
How do you get your ClickUp inbound email address?
ClickUp gives each List its own email-to-task address. When you send an email to that address, ClickUp creates a task from it, using the subject as the task name.

How do you schedule the dashboard email in DashThis?
- Open the dashboard.
- Click the sharing icon to the right of the dashboard period.
- Select “Share by email + automation”.
- Paste the address in the To field.
- Set the Frequency.
- Add an optional note.
- Click Send.
From now on, DashThis sends the dashboard to ClickUp as a task, on the schedule you picked. 🎉
How do you edit or stop the automation?
- Open the Email Sharing section.
- Click the pencil to change the schedule, recipients, or note, or to remove the automation entirely.
- Save your changes.
Good to know
- The sender address is notifications@dashthis.com. You can send from your own address instead by setting up a custom domain in DashThis.
- Multiple destinations work in the same To field. Add your ClickUp address alongside teammates or another tool, separated by commas.
- ClickUp’s Email ClickApp may need to be turned on by an admin, and email-to-task availability and limits depend on your ClickUp plan.
