[Sharing](https://help.dashthis.com/dashboards?hsLang=en#sharing) # How to automatically send dashboards to Asana ## DashThis can add any dashboard to an Asana project on a recurring schedule by sending your automated email report to the project's own email address. ### How does sending a dashboard to Asana work? Two features do the work here, one on each side: - **DashThis side:** you can schedule any dashboard to go out as an automated email report, as often as you like. - **Asana side:** every Asana project has its own email address, and any message sent to it becomes a task in that project, attachments included. Point the DashThis report at that Asana address and each dashboard shows up as a task in your project, with no manual steps. ### How do you get your Asana inbound email address? Open the project you want your dashboards to land in and copy its unique email address (it looks like something@mail.asana.com). Asana explains exactly where to find it in their guide, [How to email tasks to Asana](https://help.asana.com/s/article/email-tasks-to-asana?language=en_US). Following their guide keeps this article accurate even if Asana changes where the address lives. ### How do you schedule the dashboard email in DashThis? 1. **Open** the dashboard. 2. **Click** the sharing icon to the right of the dashboard period. 3. **Select** “Share by email + automation”. 4. **Paste** the address in the **To** field. 5. **Set** the Frequency. 6. **Add** an optional note. 7. **Click** Send. From now on, DashThis posts the dashboard to your Asana project on the schedule you picked. 🎉 ### How do you edit or stop the automation? 1. **Open** the Email Sharing section. 2. **Click** the pencil to change the recipients, frequency, or note, or to stop the automation. 3. **Save** your changes. ### Good to know - **Sender address:** your reports arrive from notifications@dashthis.com.
