How to connect with Spotify Ads
Spotify Ads is Spotify’s advertising platform, and DashThis lets you report on your campaign delivery alongside the rest of your marketing.
The Spotify Ads integration is currently in closed beta. To get access, please contact our support team.
Integrate Spotify Ads into DashThis
Spotify Ads connects with your Spotify login. One source is one ad account, so if you manage several ad accounts, you add each one as its own Spotify Ads source in DashThis.
Permissions: you need access to the Spotify ad account you want to report on, through the business it belongs to in Spotify Ads Manager. DashThis lists every ad account across every business you can reach, so if an ad account is missing from the list, ask an admin of that business to give you access first.
Connect your account
- Go to DashThis and open your integrations page.
- Scroll or search through the list of available integrations and click ADD + beside Spotify Ads.
- Sign in to Spotify when you are redirected, and allow DashThis to access your Spotify Ads data. We only use it to build your dashboards.
- Choose the ad account you want to report on and name your source. This is how the source will be labeled in DashThis.
Good to know
- One ad account per source. To report on several ad accounts, add each one as a separate Spotify Ads source.
- Your currency follows the ad account. Amounts are shown in the currency the Spotify ad account is set to.
- Your days are counted in UTC. Spotify Ads reports have no time zone of their own, so day boundaries follow UTC rather than your DashThis settings. A campaign running late in your evening may land on the next day’s figures.
- Reach and Frequency are exact up to 89 days. Spotify caps a single report at 90 days, so DashThis fetches longer periods in parts. See the notes and limitations article for what that means for those two metrics.
