[ChatGPT Ads](https://help.dashthis.com/integrations?hsLang=en#chatgpt-ads) # How to connect with ChatGPT Ads ## ChatGPT Ads is OpenAI’s advertising platform for running ads inside ChatGPT conversations, and DashThis lets you report on their performance alongside the rest of your marketing. ### Integrate ChatGPT Ads into DashThis ChatGPT Ads connects with an **API key**. Each key is tied to a single ad account, so if you manage several ad accounts you create one key per account and add each one as its own ChatGPT Ads source in DashThis. **Permissions:** creating an API key requires **Admin permission** on the ChatGPT ad account. Keys are created in ChatGPT Ads Manager, under Settings then API keys. ### Connect your account 1. **Go** to DashThis and open your [integrations page](https://dashthis.com/app/admin/Authorizations/Edit). 2. **Scroll** or search through the list of available integrations and click **ADD +** beside ChatGPT Ads.![](https://help.dashthis.com/hs-fs/hubfs/image-png-Jul-30-2026-02-33-44-9169-PM.png?width=670&height=84&name=image-png-Jul-30-2026-02-33-44-9169-PM.png) 3. **Create** a new API key in [ChatGPT Ads Manager](https://ads.openai.com/), under Settings then API keys, and copy it.
