[Periods](https://help.dashthis.com/dashboards?hsLang=en#periods) # How to change the dashboard period to view historical data (Fixed Period Dashboard) ## The beauty of DashThis periodic reports is that you can access your historical data even if you've just created your dashboard. ![](https://help.dashthis.com/hs-fs/hubfs/image-857.png?width=670&name=image-857.png) You can view up to 13 months of historical data in your dashboard, no matter the time scope you selected when creating it (daily, weekly, monthly, etc.). To access previous periods, use the drop-down menu at the top of your dashboard. If you need data beyond 13 months on a fixed dashboard, please contact our [support team](https://help.dashthis.com/kb-tickets/new?hsLang=en) directly, and a specialist will review what can be done. 💪 As a workaround, you can enable the Flexible Period option to select more specific date ranges.
