Historical Data in DashThis
When connecting a new integration to DashThis, you might wonder how much historical data will be imported into your report.
In most cases, DashThis automatically imports:
- The 12 most recently completed months,
- Plus the current ongoing month.
This means that, by default, you’ll have access to over a year of historical data as soon as your integration is connected.
Why is historical data limited?
Historical data availability depends on the API limitations and data-sharing policies of each platform (e.g., Facebook Ads, Google Analytics, LinkedIn Ads, etc.). While we aim to provide as much historical data as possible, some integrations may have specific restrictions.
Are there any exceptions?
Yes. Some integrations may:
- Provide less than 12 months
- Have specific limitations depending on the metric, dimension, or account type
