- Due to Google Search Console’s API limitations, new widgets can only show up to 16 months of historical data. However, we store data as soon as a new widget is created, so we’ll be able to display historical data as far back as when the widget was first created in DashThis, even if this goes back further than 16 months.
- Please note that there can be up to 3 days of latency in Google Search Console’s data, due to possible lags between when Google calculates the numbers and when they are visible to Search Console. To address this issue, we refresh completed periods for up to 4 days after the period ended.
- If you change your URL from HTTP to HTTPS (or vice versa) you need to remove the old source containing HTTP from your dashboard and replace it with the new one.
-
When you use "Query" as a dimension in DashThis (for example, in a dimensioned widget like a Multi-Column List), the totals we receive from Google do not include masked queries—which are hidden by Google for privacy reasons when they don’t meet certain thresholds. As a result, the totals can be underestimated compared to what you see directly in the Google Search Console interface.
To get complete totals, use a non-dimensioned widget (like a historical widget), which includes all data—even those associated with masked queries.
